Map the Carolinas' unemployment, county by county

A new Squeeze feature from the Observer's database guru, Ted Mellnik: An up-to-date map of unemployment rates in North Carolina and South Carolina.

The color-coded map helpfully guides you to the lowest unemployment counties (in blue) to the highest (in red). Each county's chart includes a 12-month unemployment trend, plus a dotted line with the state average over that span.

You can find the map permanently on the right rail of The Squeeze.
